    Description

    Over a Million Sold
20 of the finest trotline fishing clips you will ever see or use. Just attach your drop lines to these clips and then clip them to the swivels on your main line. The EZ Clip has been in use for over 20 years, and has brought in hundreds and hundreds of pounds of catfish. Easy to use in pitch dark by just feel and so easy to snap your drop lines on and off. Don't have to fool with unhooking the fish, Just unclip and throw in your livewell. Drop lines will not tangle on the main line like the big bulky clips bought in the store. Because of it's unique design, the EZ Clip is incredibly strong. If you follow the directions below on how I set out a trotline, you should have no problem handling a 30 pound cat. Also great for jug lines, limb lines, or Yo Yo's. So many other uses for these clips. When you try these out I'm sure you will be hooked forever.

How "I" set out a trotline on the lake.
Tie one end of the trotline to the edge of a bank (big rock, partially or submerged tree). Run main line across bay. Stretch line tight but not too tight then attach the other end to the edge of a bank (may have to add additional lead line or another trotline to reach across). Add weights (rock or coffee can filled with concrete) about 10 feet from shore on both ends to weight line down so boats won’t hit it. I also use a weight in the center of the trotline. Small floats can be used in the middle to keep line off the bottom if needed. Now attach your droplines to the swivels on the main line then bait the hooks. Wait a couple of hours after dark or check in the morning.
When taking fish off the line, use a
    landing net
under the fish before you bring it out of the water. Don't try to hoist the fish out of the water. Let the landing net handle all the flopping and the weight of the fish or you might loose the fish. Have fun and be careful. Also obey your states fish and game rules.
