    as installed at the Ford factory on thousands of 289, 302, and 351W engine assemblies sold to MerCruiser [ie. 188, 888, 233], OMC, Volvo [5.0, 5.8], and Glastron 302 as well as Pleasurecraft, Holman-Moody [289, 302, 351W], and Ski Nautique.  This is cast iron, not aluminum, as cooling water passes through it and raw water -
    especially salt
    - would eat through an aluminum casting in short order. I have two - both solid with surface rust only as you'd expect. If you're building a sea-going Ford motor, you need this part.  Priced reasonably and since it fits in a Flat Rate
