    Description

    Foster Bros. butcher's knife for the U.S. military, dated
    1964,
    in need of blade work.  This is a cimeter-style knife with a 10" curved steel blade with full tang, and a 5" wood handle with three brass rivets on the tang.  Blade stamped "US / Foster Bros. 1964" near the handle.  Weighs about 9 1/2 oz.  Made in USA.
    Blade edge has two shallow indents due to rust (see pictures), and a small nick at the point (see picture); blade surface has discoloration throughout.  Handle rivets are secure and the wood has no splits, cuts or nicks, but it could use treatment.
